the Checking Splitter/Riving Knife Alignment
instructions first and that the saw is disconnected
from power and the blade is raised.

To shim the splitter/riving knife:
1. GZbdkZi]Zhea^iiZg$g^k^c\`c^[ZWnaddhZc^c\
i]Zbdjci^c\Wdail^i]i]ZVgWdglgZcX]#
Note:Do not fully remove the mounting bolt
because the shims you place in the next
step will straddle the threads of the mounting
bolt.

not align with the blade when using the
maximum amount of shims (six) that will fit.
If this is the case, then remove the mounting
block and place shims behind it, as shown in
Figure 84.
