OPERATION
Place the Computer Controlled Battery Charger on a flat, smooth surface near an
electrical outlet. Connect the AC Adapter Jack to the Battery Charger.
Insert 1 to 4, D, C, AA, AAA batteries (or any combination of these four types), or 1
to 2 9V batteries in the Battery Compartment. You can mix Ni-Cd (nickel-cadmium)
and Ni-MH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries.
CHARGING WITHOUT DISCHARGE for AAA, AA, C and D size batteries. The
Battery Charger is equipped with a Microprocessor to control charging. Plug the
AC Adapter into a correct house-hold electric outlet. The red LED will light up and
the “Quick Charge” mode starts. When the battery is charged the red LED will go
off and the green LED will light up and the “Trickle Charge” mode is on. The charged
batteries are now ready for use.
CHARGING WITH DISCHARGE for AAA, AA, C and D size batteries. Plug the AC
Adapter into a correct household electric outlet and press the red Discharge Button
within 30 seconds. The red LED will light up and flash to indicate the discharge
mode has started. When the battery is discharged, the red lights will light up and
stop flashing to indicate the “Quick Charge” mode. After the battery is charged, the
red lights will go off and the green LED will light up and the “Trickle Charge” mode
is on. The charged batteries are now ready for use.
When 9V batteries are placed in the Computer Controlled Battery Charger, one red
LED (between the 9V battery compartments) will go on. After the proper charge
time is reached (11.5 hr. by timer) the red LED will go off to indicate the charging
is finished.
Unplug the Computer Controlled Battery Charger from the AC Adapter and the
AC Adapter from the electrical outlet and REMOVE ALL BATTERIES when not in
