The PoliMet® 1000 series of high torque,variable speed grinder-polishers are designed to be
flush mounted into a table for hand preparation of a wide variety of materials.They offer speeds
of 100 to 1200 rpm,for aggressive grinding and polishing and are available in 8″ (203mm) and
12″ (305mm) models. Selected 8″ (203mm) models are available with and without sinks.
All models include appropriate bronze platen and mechanical brake.These sturdy grinder-
polishers are easily mounted in Buehler TechMet® tables or your own laboratory countertops.
