Work Area
1. Keep your work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered benches and dark areas invite
accidents.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gasses, or airborne dust.
Power tools create sparks which may ignite
dust or fumes.
3. Keep children and others away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
Electrical Safety
Your Lucas Cordless Screwdriver has an integral
battery and must be recharged only with the
charger supplied. Do not use another charger as
this can create a fire risk.
Personal Safety
1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing , and use
common sense when operating a power tool.
Do not use the tool whilst tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A
moment of inattention whilst operating power
tools may result in serious personal injury.
2. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair
and clothing away from moving parts.
3. Avoid accidental starting. Carrying the tool
with your finger on the trigger or covering the
tool with working materials can result in
unexpected starting and personal injury.
4. Do not over-reach. Keep a proper footing and
balance at all times, particularly if working
high up or on ladders.
5. Always wear eye protection and ensure that
you keep your hands away from work areas
that could result in injury as a result of
accidently slipping with the tool.
