Above parts are completely interchangeable as a set. Type 2 & 3 Motor Hsg and Handle Cover are interchangeable,
1) Type 2 Motor Housing and Handle Cover Switch area was widened.
2) Type 2 Motor Housing has pressed-in Brush Holder and no longer required the use of Set Screw.

3) Type 3 Motor Housing and Handle Cover have a textured finished now.
