D Push the workpiece and the mitre fence forward. E After the cut pull back the workpiece and the mitre fence.
9.5 Concealed Cross-Cuts with mitre fence (U.K. users see para. 6.5)
Concealed crosscuts are carried out as shown in para.9.4, but with the saw blade guard removed.
When operating the saw without the blade guard in place wear goggles to protect eyes from chips and saw dust.
B - Place work, firmly into wedge cutting
jig and set to desired angle
- Start machine
C - Push mitre fence to feed work into
blade.
- When cut is complete pull mitre
fence back.
9.6 Cutting wedges (U.K. users see para. 6.5)
- Use stock with square or rectangular cross section and cut to length as shown in para. 9.4.
- Mount riving knife and saw blade guard, if not already in place.
10 Sawdust removal (optional extra)
- In case the machine is used in closed rooms, a sawdust suction device has to be connected.
- The sawdust suction device must produce an air speed of at least 16 metres per second.
- For the connection, a flexible exhaust hose with a nominal diameter of 100 mm has to be used.
11 Crane Lifting
For crane lifting swing both lifting eyes, attached to table, upwards.
12 Safety rules
As with all power tools there is a certain amount of hazard involved with the operator and his use of the machine. Using the
machine with the respect and caution demanded as far as safety precautions are concerned will considerably lessen the
possibility of personal injury. If, however, normal safety precautions are overlooked or completely ignored, personal injury to
the operator can develop.
