Charging the battery

Connect the AC cable
plug to the AC input
connector on the charger.

Plug the AC power cord
into an AC power outlet.

Place the battery on the battery charger and slide it
in until you hear a click.
● The charging indicator may blink for an instant (less
than one second) when the battery is inserted or just
before charging is complete. However, this is normal
and merely shows that the charger is communicating
with the battery.

Notes
In the following cases, it should be assumed that this
product is out of order. Unplug the AC power cord
immediately and consult your local Olympus
representative.
● Charging has not finished after six hours.
● The red or green charging indicator blinks after several
charges.
