right 9V bay and AA/AAA batteries in
the left bay.
You cannot charge only one AA or AAA
battery in one battery bay. You must
always charge a pair of the same size
and type batteries in one bay if the
other bays are empty.
CHARGING BATTERIES
The charger has 4 charging bays. Each bay
provides charging spaces for two AA and
two AAAbatteries in alternating spaces. The
AA batteries fit between flat spring contacts
while the smaller AAA batteries fit between
flat spring contacts along the compartment’s
upper side and spring metal loops along the
lower edge of the compartment.
1. Lift the battery charger’s cover.
2. Place 2 AA or AAA batteries in BAY 1
according to the polarity symbols
(+ and –) marked inside the bay. If you
have more than 2 batteries to be
charged at a time, fill BAY 2 next, and
so on.
To charge 9V batteries, place the first
battery in the 9V channel across BAY 1
and BAY 2. Slide the battery’s connec-
tors onto the terminals on the outside
wall of the channel. Place a second 9V
battery in the channel across BAY 3
and BAY 4.
3. Slide
BAY to select the number of bays
being used specifically for AA/AAA
batteries.
Ô
4. Insert the AC adapter’s plug into a
standard AC outlet. The indicators on
top of the charger light showing that the
batteries are charging. Ô
5. When the charging indicators turn off,
the batteries are fully charged. Unplug
the adapter from the AC outlet and
remove the batteries.
