WARNING:
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
injury.
Electric tools used on fiberglass material, wall board, spack ling
compounds, or plaster are subject to ac cel er at ed wear and
possible premature failure be cause the fi ber glass chips and
grindings are highly abrasive to bearings, brushes, com mu -
ta tors, etc. Consequently, we do not recommended us ing this
tool for extended work on these types of materials. How ev er,
if you do work with any of these materials, it is extremely
important to clean the tool using com pressed air.
LUBRICATION
All of the bearings in this tool are lubricated with a sufficient
amount of high grade lubricant for the life of the unit under
normal operating conditions. Therefore, no further lubrica-
tion is required.
ADJUSTMENTS
To adjust the lasers in a rotational direction:
n Remove the blade.
n Plug in the saw.
n Rest the back of the base on scrap workpiece.
n Insert a flathead screwdriver into the laser barrel slot.
n Turn laser on.
NOTE: DO NOT look directly into the laser beam.
n Turn the barrel left or right as necessary.
n Since blade thicknesses vary, always make a trial cut in
scrap workpiece to ensure an accurate cut.
n Check for proper alignment.
n Repeat as necessary until laser is aligned.
