The model number and serial number are located on the bottom of the unit. Record the serial number in the space
provided below. Refer to the model and serial number whenever you call upon your Sony Service Center.

should not be used until properly repaired or replaced.

ERA-301P4 Portable Charger is designed to be used with ERA-201B1/301B1/7B1 Lithium Ion Battery Pack for
Sony AIBO.
Before using the unit, please confirm the model names of your battery and AC adapter.

Notes on Use
Installation
Do not place the portable charger in a location subject to:
•Heat sources, such as in a car parked in the sun or under direct sunlight
•Direct sunlight
•Mechanical vibration or shock
•Strong magnets or speakers that are not magnetically shielded
•Excessive dust
Handling
•Attach the battery pack firmly and horizontally into the portable charger.
•Remove the battery from the portable charger within 24 hours after charging is complete.
•Charge the battery at temperatures between 50°F and 86°F (10°C to 30°C). Lower temperatures require a longer
charging time.
•Do not apply mechanical shock or drop the portable charger.
•Keep the portable charger away from AM receivers, as it can disturb AM reception.
•Unplug the AC power cord from the AC outlet if the portable charger will not be used for an extended period of
time. To disconnect the cord, pull it out by the plug. Never pull the cord itself.
•To prevent short circuit accidents, do not allow metallic objects to come into contact with the metal parts of the
portable charger or connecting plate. A short may result in portable charger damage.
•Do not pick up the portable charger by the battery.
Cleaning
Clean the portable charger with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type
of abrasive pad, scouring powder, or solvent such as alcohol or benzine.
