INSTALLING BITS
See Figure 6.
Lock the switch trigger by placing the direction of
rotation selector in center position. See Figure 3.
Open or close chuck jaws to a point where the
opening is slightly larger than the bit size you
intend to use. Also, raise the front of your drill
slightly to keep the bit from falling out of the chuck
jaws.
Insert drill bit into chuck the full length of the jaws
as shown in Figure 6.
DRILLBIT CHUCK
WARNING: Do not insertdrill bit intochuck jaws
and tighten as shown in figure7. This couldcause
drillbit to be thrown from drillresultingin possible
serious personal injuryor damage to the chuck.
REMOVING BITS
See Figure 6.
6RIGHT
Remove chuck key from storage. See Figure 4.
Using only the chuck key provided, tighten the
chuck jaws. Place chuck key in each of the three
holes and tighten in a clockwise direction.
Do not use a wrench to tighten or loosen the
chuck jaws.
Remove chuck key and return it to chuck key
storage.
