Deactivating Anti Car-
Jack Mode
If Anti Car-Jack mode is not deactivated and
the vehicle's ignition is turned on, the system
will first warn the user by "beeping" the
remote control transmitter. If installed, the
CVA-1000 will display an Anti Car-Jack
screen warning the user of this mode. Unless
Anti Car-Jack mode is deactivated, sixty
seconds after the ignition is turned on, the
security system will go into full alarm mode.
The SEA-8081 provides four different
methods to deactivate Anti Car-Jack mode.
The way Anti Car-Jack mode is deactivated
for the vehicle is determined by the installer
at the time of installation. The following
procedure describes how to deactivate Anti
Car-Jack mode.
Turn the Disarm/Valet switch to the ON
position.
