OPERATIONINSTRUCTIONS
HeaterAttachment:
OnlyattachheatertoanATDFanBlowerunitmodelATD‐30001.
Slidetheheateroverthebloweroutletandsecurethespringclipto
theblowercatch.(SeeFigure1).Thefitshouldbetightwithnogaps.
ToOperate:
Plugtheheaterpowercordinto
theblowerreceptacle.TURNTHE
BLOWERONFIRSTand thenturnontheheaterwiththelighted“On‐
Off”switch.Whentheswitchislit,thepowerisappliedtothe
heater.
ToShutoff:
TURNTHEHEATEROFFFIRSTandthenwaitafewminutesbeforeturningofftheblower.Thisallowsthe
heatertocooldownandextendsthelifeoftheheaterunit.
Controls:
1) Lighted“On‐Off”Switch‐Litwhenpowerisappliedtotheheater.
2) Airswitch‐Providesaninterlockersotheheatercanonlybeoperatedafterbeingmountedon
ablowerandtheblowerisnormallyope r ating.
3) InternalThermostat‐Aninternalthermostathasbeenprovided
tomaintaintheheater
temperatureswithinnormaloperatingranges.
4) Powerindicatorlight‐Litwhentheheaterisnormallyoperating.
5) InternalThermalFuse‐Ifthethermostatshouldfailorthetemperatureoftheheaterstartsto
reachahazardousrange,aone‐timethermalfuseprotectsagainsthazardousover‐thermostat
conditions.Thisfuseissettotripabovethethermostatsetpointandisafactoryreplaceable
item.
MAINTENANCEINSTRUCTIONS
ToClean:
1) Alwaysunpluganddisconnecttheheaterfromblowerbeforecleaning.
2) Useasoftclothmoistened withamildsoapsolutionforthecase.
3) Useasoftbrushtocleanthescreens.
4) NEVERIMMERSETHEHEATERINWATER,orallowwatertodripintothe
heaterhousing.NEVER
usegasoline,benzene,thinners,orsimilarmaterialstocleantheheater.Theywilldamag ethe
heaterandcouldcauseafireorexplosion.
GROUNDINGINSTRUCTIONS
Thisheaterisforuseon120volts.ThecordhasaplugasshowninFigure1andisintendedforinsertion
intothereceptacleontheATDFanBlowercaseonly.Theblowerhasasimilarconfiguredplug.Useonly
withaproperlygroundedreceptacle.
