Important:Boththemaintenanceandrepairofthejackmayonlybeperformedbyqualifiedpersons,whohavesufficient
knowledgeofthehydraulicsystemusedinthesejacks
Regularlylubricatethemovingpartsinthewheels,arms,handleandpumprollerpin.
Onlyoriginalreplacementpartsshouldbeused.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: NEVERusebrakefluidORtransmissionfluidforlubrication,orforfillingthe
hydraulicsystem.UseONLYqualityhydraulicjackoilforlubricationandfillingofthehydraulicsystem.
• Whenthejackisnotinuse,makesuretheliftingarmisfullyretractedtoavoidcorrosion.
• Replacethehydraulicfluidinthereservoiratleastonceayear.Tocheckthehydraulicfluidlevel,lowerthelifting
armcompletely.
• Thehydraulicfluidlevelshouldbejust
belowthefillerplug.Iftheoilis toolow,thejackwillnotraisetoitsadvertised
maximumheight.Replenishifnecessary,andreinstalltherubberfillerplug.Donotoverfillthejack.Excessive
hydraulicoilmayrenderthejackinoperative.
• Inspectthejackbeforeeachuse.Take
correctiveactionorremovethejackfromserviceifanyofthefollowing
problemsarefound:
A. Crackedordamagedframe
B. Leakinghydraulicfluid
C. Scored,damagedpistonrod
D. Loosehardware
E. Modifiedequipment
Keepwarninglabelsandinstructionaldecalscleanandreadable.Youmayuseamild
soapsolutiontowashexternalsurfaces
ofthejack.
