14 Making and Answering Calls
Answering calls using the flip
You can set the phone to answer immediately when you open the flip, or to
continue ringing until you press .
1. Select jÉåì → pÉííáåÖë → bñíê~ë → ^åëïÉê=ïáíÜ=cäáéK
2. Highlight an option and press to select it:
– bå~ÄäÉÇ causes the phone to answer when you open the flip.
The phone number of the caller appears on the screen. If the number
is stored in your contacts directory, the contact name appears.
– aáë~ÄäÉÇ causes the phone to continue ringing when you open the flip.
– A dancing phone icon appears on the screen along with the phone
number of the caller. If the number is stored in your contacts
directory, the contact name appears. To answer the call, press .
Answering calls hands-free
If your phone is attached to a portable hands-free car kit (sold separately),
you can set it to answer an incoming call after five seconds.
• Select jÉåì → pÉííáåÖë → ^ÅÅÉëëçêáÉë → ^ìíçJ^åëïÉê → ^ÑíÉê=R=ëÉÅçåÇë.
