Ifyouareabletogoontotheroof
1. Unplugthe“Green”9pinconnectorfromthebackoftheNOMAD2.This
willrelease“dynamicbraking”thatholdsthemountinposition.Themount
maynowberotatedmanually.
2. Gototheroofwhereyoucancarefullyapplyaslightcontinuousamountof
forceto movethedishintoanacceptablepositionfortraveling.InAzimuth,
rotatethemountinacounterclockwisedirectiontomovetotheproper
stowedposition.
3. Plugthe“Green”9pinconnectorback intotheNomad2.
4. CallTechSupportwhenyoucanperformadditionalt roubleshooting.
Ifyouareunabletogoontotheroof –
Thedishcan bemanipulatedbyapplying12voltDCpowertospecificwiresin
thecontrolcablelocatedinthebackoftheNOMAD2(seeControlCableConnector on
RearConnectionpage.) The12VoltsgoingtoyourNOMAD2controller’s3pin
“green”connector(seePowerConnectionsonRearConnectionpage)canbeusedasthe
12voltDCpowersource.
1. ELEVATION OrangeandRedwires(reversingpolaritywillchange
direction)
2. AZIMUTH BlackandBrown(reversingpolaritywillchange
direction.)
3. SKEW BrownandRed wires(reversingpolaritywillchange
direction.)
Ifachainormotor/gearboxassemblyisbroken,thedishwillhavetobestowedby
hand.
