Using USB
Checking audio output & volume
control operation
For correct operation, check the Windows
audio output and volume control settings as
follows.
1 Open the Multimedia control panel.
The Multimedia Properties control panel
opens.
2 On the Audio panel, make sure that the
“Preferred device” for Playback is set to
USB Audio Device, as shown.
Windows 98/98SE
Windows 2000/Me
3 If you are using Windows 98/98SE, click
the Playback button. If you are using
Windows 2000/Me, click the Volume
button.
The Volume Control opens, as shown.
4 Set the Volume slider for each device to
maximum, close the window, and then
click OK to close the Multimedia control
panel.
