BRIGHT (or VOLUME) Indicator
These indicators appear during playback.
• The BRIGHT indicator appears when
you adjust the brightness of the
monitor with the bright control (also
menu PUSH dial).
• The VOLUME indicator appears when
you adjust the volume of the speaker
with the VOL control (also zoom
lever).
Dew Warning ( )
The dew indicator appears when exces-
sive moisture (condensation) has entered
the camcorder. The camcorder will not
operate when this indicator appears.
Place the camcorder in a warm, dry area
until this indicator disappears.
Exposure Indicators (+03)
This indicator appears when you are
adjusting brightness manually using the
LCD Monitor and Viewfinder Displays (continued)

Fade and Wipe Indicators (

FADER)
Press the FADES button to display the
indicator for the fade or wipe you want
to select.

FADER appears for black fade.
• MOSAIC appears for mosaic fade.
• DOOR appears for door wipe.
• SCROLL wipe appears for scroll
wipe.

Focus Indicators ( )
These indicators appear when you are
adjusting focus manually using the
FOCUS menu. Make sure the POWER
switch is set to CAMERA MAN.
• The focus indicators ( ) flash
when the auto-focus system cannot
operate properly.
