SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Always wear ANSI-approved safety impact eye goggles during setup or use.
Maintain a safe working environment. Always keep the work area free of obstruc-
tions, grease, oil, trash, and other debris. Do not use this product in areas near
flammable chemicals, dust, and vapors.
Read and understand all instructions and safety precautions as outlined in the
manufacturer’s manual of the battery with which this product will be used.
FIRE HAZARD! Never allow the red and black Battery Clamps to touch each
other or the same metal object.
WARNING! Lead acid batteries generate hydrogen gas during normal operation,
and even more gas is generated when the battery is charging. Hydrogen gas is
explosive and highly flammable. Never smoke near a charging battery.
Plug the Charger into its electrical outlet only after it is connected to the
vehicle’s battery.
Do not attempt to start a vehicle with the Charger connected to its battery.
WARNING! If battery fluid comes in contact with skin, wash with soap and water and
rinse with lemon juice and vinegar. If the fluid comes into contact with eyes, flush
with water for several minutes and contact a physician immediately. Never burn a
battery as it can explode in a fire. Do not attempt to charge a leaking battery.
WARNING! People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before using
this product. Electromagnetic fields in close proximity to a heart pacemaker could
cause interference or failure of the pacemaker. In addition, people with pacemakers
should adhere to the following: Caution is necessary when near the coil, spark plug
wires, or distributor of a running engine.
