Work Piece and Work Area Set Up
Designate a work area that is clean 1.
and well-lit. The work area must not
allow access by children or pets to
prevent injury and distraction.
Route the power cord along a safe 2.
route to reach the work area without
creating a tripping hazard or exposing
the power cord to possible damage.
The power cord must reach the work
area with enough extra length to al-
low free movement while working.
Secure loose work pieces using a 3.
vise or clamps (not included) to pre-
vent movement while working.
There must not be hazardous ob-4.
jects, such as utility lines or foreign
objects, nearby that will present a
hazard while working.
General Operating Instructions
Plug the Power Cord (34) into a suit-1.
able outlet.

Trigger (32) to determine the rota-
tion direction of the Chuck (2). Press
to the right side for clockwise Chuck
rotation. Press to the left side for the
counterclockwise Chuck rotation.
Squeeze the Trigger (32) to start the 3.
tool. The Trigger has a variable speed
feature. Pressing it lightly will make
the tool operate slowly, pressing more
will cause the tool to operate faster.
You can lock the Trigger in the ON 4.
position by squeezing the trigger,

releasing the Trigger. The tool will
operate continuously. To stop the tool,
squeeze and release the Trigger.
To prevent accidents, turn off the tool 5.
and disconnect its power supply after
use. Clean, then store the tool in-
doors out of children’s reach.
The Drilling Operation
Use only well-sharpened bits that are 1.
in good condition and appropriate to
the task.

do not press too hard. Too much
pressure will not help the process
and will cause the bit to overheat,
may cause the bit to bend or break,
cause undue strain on the tool, and
may damage the bit or work piece.
Pressing too hard may stall the mo-
tor. WARNING: If the motor stalls,
release the Trigger immediately, to
prevent damage to the tool.
Always drill in a straight line. Bending 3.
or twisting the bit while drilling may
cause the bit to bend or break and
may damage the work piece.
Back off your pressure when you are 4.
