In addition to the safety instructions in your owner's manual for this machine, follow these rules
regarding the blade guard hood and clamping blade guard:
• ALWAYSdisconnectpowertothemachineBEFOREmakingadjustmentstotheclamping
bladeguardtoavoidtheriskofunexpectedstartup,whichcouldresultinseriouspersonal
injury.
• ALWAYSproperlyadjust theclampingblade guardforthe workpiecethicknessso thatit
operates safely and efficiently.
• Theclampingbladeguardmovesdownwithgreatforceandcaneasilycrushyourhands.
ALWAYSkeepyourhands andbodypartsawayfromthis guardbeforepressingthefoot
pedal.
• NEVERhavethemachineconnectedtopowerwhenthegladeguardhoodisremoved.
• DONOTmodifythegladeguardhoodorclampingbladeguard.DONOTinterferewiththeir
operation in any way.


