Circuit Requirements
We recommend connecting your machine to a
dedicated and grounded circuit that is rated for
the amperage given below. Never replace a circuit
breaker on an existing circuit with one of higher
amperage without consulting a qualified electri

. If
you are unsure about the wiring codes in your
area or you plan to connect your machine to a
shared circuit, consult a qualified electrician.

When using a phase converter, the power from
the manufactured power leg (sometimes called
the wild wire) can fluctuate. Connect the manu
-
factured power leg to the 3L/2 terminal to prevent
damage to the IC board or transformer. The wire
from this terminal can handle some fluctuation
because it goes directly to the motor. The power
going to the 1L/2 and 5L/3 terminals goes to the
IC board and transformer and must be consistent
to prevent damage.
