The Model G9984/G9985 must be turned ON to
visually check the results of certain adjustments
made to the sander; however, actual adjustments
should never be performed while the machine is
plugged in.
Power Switch
The Model G9984/G9985 has (2) 4" dust hoods.
One is positioned for use with the side table. The
second dust hood is for use with the main table.
The side table dust hood is adjustable to allow
optimum positioning for various sanding opera-
tions. To adjust the side table dust hood:
1. Loosen the lock handle shown in Figure 8.
2. Rotate the dust hood until the desired position
is achieved.
3. Tighten the lock handle loosened in Step 1.
4. Hook up a 4" dust collection hose to the dust
hood and secure with a hose clamp.
