Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Causes Likely Solutions
Low discharge
pressure
Air leaks. 1.
Leaking valves. 2.
Restricted air intake.3.
Blown gaskets. 4.
Slipping belts.5.
Listen for escaping air. Apply soap solution 1.
to all ttings and connections. Bubbles will
appear at points of leakage. Tighten or
replace leaking ttings or connections.
Remove head and inspect for valve 2.
breakage, weak valves, scored valve plate,
etc. Replace defective parts and reassemble.
Replace head gasket each time the head is
removed.
Clean or replace air lter element.3.
Replace and gaskets proven faulty on 4.
inspection.
Tighten Belts (See monthly maintenance.)5.

servicing the tool.
