OPERATING THE SYSTEM
• Press BASS 3 or 4 to select the
low tone level
™ "BASS -X or BASS +X" will be
displayed.
• Press TREBLE 3 or 4 to select the
high tone level.
™ "TREBLE -X or TREBLE +X"
will be displayed.
Note:
–"X" denotes the sound level.
wOOx
There are three wOOx settings to
enhance the bass response.
1 Press wOOx PLUS (or wOOx on
the remote control) to select between
normal or enhanced wOOx effect.
• When normal wOOx sound effect is
selected;
™ The WOOX display is switched
off.
™ "WOOX NORM" will be displayed.
• When enhanced wOOx sound
effect is selected;
™ The WOOX appears on the
display.
2 Press wOOx LEVEL to select the
desired levels of wOOx.
™ The WOOX display lights up.
™ "WOOX 1, WOOX 2 or WOOX 3"
will be displayed.
Notes:
– When Bass/Treble sound control is
selected, wOOx will be switched off
automatically.
– Some CDs or tapes might be recorded
in high modulation. It may cause
distortion at high volume. If this occurs,
switch off wOOx or reduce the volume.
Automatic DSC-wOOx /
VEC-wOOx selection
The best wOOx setting is generated
automatically for each DSC or VEC
selection. You can manually select the
wOOx setting that best suits your listening
environment.
