TO START AND STOP THE TOOL
Make sure that the switch is “OFF” and power circuit voltage
is the same as that
shown on the specification plate.
1. Connect the tool to the power
circuit.
2. Grip the tool firmly to resist starting
torque.
3. Slide the switch button (A) Fig. 11
forward to turn the tool “ON”. When
released, the switch button will
return to the "OFF" position.
4. To lock the switch in the “ON”
position, move the switch to the “ON”
position and depress the front end of
the switch button (A) Fig. 11. To
release the switch lock, depress the rear end of the switch button.
Allow the tool spindle to stop rotating before putting the
tool down.
USING A DISC GRINDER
Be certain that the wheel guard and
auxiliary handle are installed.
Firmly grip the auxiliary handle and motor
housing (Fig. 12). Lift up the rear of the
motor housing so that only the front
section of the grinding wheel contacts
the work. Use light pressure. Always lift
the grinder off the work before starting or
stopping the motor. The arrow on the
front gear housing indicates the direction
in which the grinding wheel rotates.
