FASTENING INTO CONCRETE
The proper power fastener length can be determined by
adding the thickness of the material to be fastened and the
amount of fastener that will actually penetrate the concrete.
The concrete must be three times as thick as the intended
fastener penetration. In most cases, penetration should be
approximately 25 mm - 32 mm (1"-1 1/4") into the base
concrete material.

La longueur adéquate d’une fixation peut être obtenue en
ajoutant l’épaisseur du matériau devant être pénétré et la
longueur de fixation devant pénétrer le béton. Le béton doit
avoir une épaisseur égale à au moins trois fois la pénétration
voulue. Dans la plupart des cas, la pénétration dans le
béton devrait être entre 25 mm (1") et 32 mm (1-1/4").

POWER LOADS
Always start with the lowest power level (green-level 3). If
the first test fastener does not penetrate to the desired
depth, move to the next highest power level (yellow-level
4). Increase until a proper fastening is made.
IMPORTANT: Damage to the tool will result if the above
instructions are not followed (see illustrations)
CHARGES
Toujours commencer avec le niveau de puissance le plus
bas (vert-niveau 3). Si la fixation de départ ne pénètre pas
à la profondeur voulue, augmenter à la puissance
suivante (jaune-niveau 4) ou jusqu’à ce qu’une bonne
fixation se fasse.

The proper fastener length can be determined by adding
the thickness of the material to be fastened and the
thickness of the steel. The point of the power fastener
must go completely through the steel.
