Hazard zone. Keep children, bystanders, and animals
a minimum of 50 feet (15 meters) away from the work
area. Do not allow other people or animals t o be near
when starting or operating the pruner.
Carefully plan your pruning operat ion in advance. Do not
start cutting until you have a clear work area, se cure
footing, and a planned retreat path.
Do not operate a pruner with one hand. Serious injury to the
operator, helpers, bystanders or any combination of these
perso ns may result from one-handed operation. A pruner is
intended for two- handed use.
Secure hair above shoulder length. Do
not wear jewelry, loose clothing, or
clothing with loosely hanging straps,
ties, tassels, etc. They can be caught in
moving parts.
When servicing unit, use only identical replacemen t
parts.
Store unit indoors in a high, dry place out of the reach of
children.
