2. Overview
2.1 Introduction
Use the Deluxe Optical Power Meter with Memory (FOPM-210) with an optical
laser source (FOLS-SM-200 or FOLS-MM-200) to identify optical fiber strands,
measure optical attenuation, verify continuity, and test optical transmission quality
in laboratories, LANs, WANs, telecommunications networks, and other long-
distance optical applications.
The FOPM-210 has a memory capacity of 1000 data items and supports data
transfers via a USB port and the included software. The data can be saved as an
Excel
®
file or plain text.
