SAFETY RULES FOR TILE WET SAWS cont.
6. NEVER try to cut freehand. Make sure that the tile to be cut is pressed firmly
against the rip fence.
7. NEVER cut pieces too small to be held securely against the fence without
leaving enough space for your hand to be a safe distance from the blade.
8. NEVER cut more than one tile at a time.
9. KEEP the saw table free of clutter with the exception of the tile you are cutting.
10. MAKE SURE that the work piece that will be cut off has enough room to move
sideways. Failure to do so may result in the off-cut binding against the blade.
11. BEFORE cutting a tile piece, let the saw blade run freely for a few seconds.
If it makes an unfamiliar sound or vibrates excessively, switch it off immediately
and disconnect from the power supply.
12. PULL blade/cutting assembly slowly and smoothly through the tile being
cut. NEVER leave the tool running unattended. Turn power off.
13. LET the blade come to a complete stop before removing any jammed or off-cut
material from around the blade area.
14. KEEP the water tray topped off with water at the correct level. Allowing the blade
to run dry may cause the diamond blade to overheat.
15. ALWAYS wear protective gloves when handling the blade or any accessories.
Blades and accessories may be hot after prolonged use.
