study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will
allow you to operate the tool better and safer.

13.Keep battery away from intense heat. An overheated battery may explode.
14.ALWAYS use an outlet equipped with a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter)
when charging the jump-starter in a damp or wet location.
IMPORTANT:
1. Recharge unit after each use. Use only the supplied AC charger and cords to
recharge the jump-starter. If you must use a DC power source, do not charge
for more than 4 hours or damage to the battery may occur.
2. Make sure the jump-starter is OFF before attempting to charge.
3. Use only manufacturer recommended accessories with this unit. NEVER put
anything into the power socket outlet except the cords supplied with this prod-
uct.
4. This product is not to be used with appliances that draw more than 20 amps.
5. For use with 12V DC battery systems only. Do not attempt to use with any
other types of batteries.
6. DO NOT use this unit as a vehicular battery. This product is for jumpstarting
only. It will not replace a dead battery.
7. If the vehicle to be jumpstarted has an on-board computer system, check the
owner’s manual before attempting to jumpstart the engine. Jumpstarting with
this unit may cause damage to some computer systems.
8. Protect this product from moisture, excessive heat or direct sunlight.
9. Keep the unit upright at all times.
10.Make sure all parts are in proper working order before each use. Replace dam-
aged parts immediately.
11.DO NOT immerse in liquid.
12.Never jumpstart a frozen battery.
13.DO NOT crank the vehicle’s engine excessively. If the vehicle will not start after
several attempts, the problem may be something besides the battery. Stop
jumpstarting and look for other causes.
14.NEVER over-inflate tires or other inflatable items.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID
Acid in Eyes. Flush immediately with cold running water. Continue flushing for at
least 15-20 minutes, then seek immediate medical attention.
Acid on Skin. Wash the affected area immediately with soap and water. If the skin
becomes red, sore or irritated, seek immediate medical attention.
