The depth of cut is equal to the distance
between the infeed table surface and the top of
the cutterhead blade at top-dead-center
(Figure 28). The depth of cut is adjusted by
raising and lowering the infeed table.
To adjust the depth of cut:
Turn the table height knob (Figure 29)
clockwise to raise the infeed table, thereby
reducing the depth of cut.
Turn the knob counter-clockwise to lower
the infeed table, thereby increasing the
depth of cut.
Never remove more than
1
8" of material from
the workpiece in a single pass.
