Additional Battery Pack Connection (Daisy-Chaining)
Connect multiple battery packs to a single UPS system by connecting the first battery pack to the UPS system power module's external battery connector, then
daisy-chaining the others by linking a connector on the second battery pack to a connector on the first, a connector on the third to a connector on the second and so
on. Secure each connector with the included connector retention bracket, following the procedure outlined in the UPS Power Module Connection section.
Note: When daisy-chaining multiple battery packs, they should be identical models of similar age and level of wear. Multiple battery packs provide longer runtimes, but also require
longer recharge times.
Warning: Always use the connector retention brackets to secure the battery pack connections. Do not attempt to operate the UPS system without the connector retention brackets.
