The optional network adapter, the AXIS 1610 Print Server, enables the imageRUNNER
1670F/1630/1610 to be used as a printer directly connected to a network.
Optional AXIS 1610 Print Server
NOTE
• For more information, refer to the AXIS 1610 user’s manual provided on the CD with
the AXIS 1610 Print Server.
• To purchase the AXIS 1610 Print Server, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
• To use the optional AXIS 1610 Print Server, the customer should use the NetSpot
Device Installer and AXIS Print Monitor in order to connect the image RUNNER
1670/1630/1610 to a network.
• The NetSpot Device Installer software can be found on the NetSpot Device Installer
CD, which is bundled in the box with the imageRUNNER 1670F/1630/1610.
• The AXIS 1610 Print Monitor software can be found on the CD included with the
AXIS 1610 Print Server.
• CANON USA and CANON’s dealerships do not recommend or support the use of the
AXIS IP Installer or AXIS NetPilot software to connect the imageRUNNER 1670F/
1630/1610 to a network.
