PROBLEM HEAD ASSEMBLY WILL NOT FULL RISE OR
BLADE GUARD WILL NOT FULLY CLOSE.
CAUSE 1. Part failure.
2. Pivot spring or guard spring not replaced
properly after service.
3. Sawdust accumulation.
SOLUTION 1. Authorized service.
2. Authorized service.
3. Clean head assembly.
PROBLEM BLADE BINDS, JAMS, BURNS WOOD.
ROUGH CUTS.
CAUSE 1. Improper operation.
2. Dull blade.
3. Improper blade.
4. Bent blade.
SOLUTION 1. See Basic Saw Operation section.
2. Replace or sharpen blade.
3. Replace with 10" diameter blade designed for
the material being cut.
4. Replace blade.
PROBLEM TOOL VIBRATES OR SHAKES.
CAUSE 1. Saw blade not round.
2. Saw blade damaged.
3. Saw blade loose.
4. Other.
SOLUTION 1. Replace blade.
2. Replace blade.
3. Tighten arbor screw.
4. Authorized service.
PROBLEM HEAD ASSEMBLY DOES NOT MOVE FROM
33.9° POSITION.
CAUSE 1. Bevel detent lock pin engaged.
SOLUTION 1. Pull lock pin out and rotate 90°.
PROBLÈME LA TETE VACILLE.
CAUSE 1. Pointes de pivot lâches.
ACTION CORRECTRICE
1. Voir Réglage des pivots de biseau dans la section
Réglages.
PROBLÈME LA TETE NE LEVE PAS COMPLETEMENT OU LE
PROTECTEUR DE LAME NE SE FERME PAS
COMPLETEMENT.
CAUSE 1. Défaillance de pièces.
2. Le ressort de pivot ou le ressort de protecteur n’a
pas été remis en place adéquatement après
l’entretien.
3. Accumulation de bran de scie.
ACTION CORRECTRICE
1. Service agréé.
2. Service agréé.
3. Nettoyez la tête.
PROBLÈME LA LAME GRIPPE, SE COINCE, BRULE DU BOIS.
COUPES GROSSIERES.
CAUSE 1. Opération inappropriée.
2. Lame émoussée.
3. Lame inappropriée.
4. Lame pliée.
ACTION CORRECTRICE
1. Voir section Opérations de base de la scie.
2. Remplacez ou affûtez la lame.
3. Remplacez par une lame de 10 po de diamètre
conçue pour le matériau à couper.
4. Remplacez la lame.
PROBLÈME L’OUTIL VIBRE OU TREMBLE.
CAUSE 1. La lame de scie n’est pas ronde.
2. La lame de scie est abîmée.
3. La lame de scie est desserrée.
4. Autre
ACTION CORRECTRICE
1. Remplacez la lame.
2. Remplacez la lame.
3. Serrez la vis de l’arbre.
4. Service agréé.
PROBLÈME LA TETE NE SORT PAS DE SA POSITION À 33,9°.
CAUSE 1. La cheville de blocage du cran d’arrêt de biseau est
engagée.
ACTION CORRECTRICE
1. Tirez la cheville de blocage vers l’extérieur et tournez
de 90°.
