Always DISCONNECT POWER before
servicing, adjusting, or doing main-
tenance to reduce the risk of acci-
dental injury or electrocution.
1. DISCONNECT THE SAW FROM
POWER!
2. Remove the arbor retaining bolt
(reverse thread) and washers (Figure
7).

2. To replace worn motor brushes, remove
the brush caps, located on either side
of the motor housing, with a screw-
driver (Figure 8).

3. Thoroughly remove any dust accumu-
lated on the spindle and washers.
4. Install the new blade with the concave
portion of the washer contacting the
blade.

3. Install replacement brushes and fasten
brush caps (Figure 9).

5. Be sure that the arrows on the blade
point in a clockwise direction, matching
the arrow on the blade guard.
6. Securely fasten arbor retaining bolt.
