WARNING
Always unplug power cord before servicing the
hole saw.
Motor Brush Replacement
Check motor brushes every 6 months and replace when
worn to less than
1
/
2
″. If commutator is worn, the outer
dimension of the commutator should be turned and the
mica should be undercut before replacing the brushes.
This should only be done by qualified personnel.
Service and Repair
Service and repair work on this Hole Cutting Tool must
be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Hole
Cutting Tools should be taken to a RIDGID Authorized
Service Center or returned to the factory. When servic-
ing this tool, only identical replacement parts should be
used. Failure to follow these steps may create a risk of
electrical shock or other serious injury.
