CAUTION
Make sure that the ferrules do
not move after clamping them in
the holding jig.
Step 5 Separate the fibers into two
bundles, one on each half of
the holding jig, and tie each
bundle with a wire tie.
NOTE
If you have less than six ferrules
to polish, use dummy or
unusable ferrules so there are at
least six ferrules mounted in the
holding fixture. This is so that
the ferrules will get polished at
an equal quality level.
