Unlocking Your Device Screen
1. Press to wake up the screen.
2. Flick the Unlock icon in any direction.
Ⅲ If you’ve locked your screen, you must draw an
unlock pattern or enter a PIN or password to
unlock it.
Calling in Lock Mode
Even if the screen is locked, you will still be able to
place emergency calls.
ᮣ To call an emergency number, tap the
Emergency call button and enter the phone
number, and then tap .
Configuring the Screen Lock Settings
After an unlock pattern, PIN, or password is created,
additional options are available in the Location &
security menu.
To hide the unlock drawing pattern:
1. Press Home > Menu > Settings >
Location & security.
2. Clear the Use visible pattern check box.
Ⅲ Clearing this option prevents the unlock pattern
from displaying on the unlock screen.
To vibrate the screen when you draw the pattern:
1. Press Home > Menu > Settings >
Location & security.
2. Tap the Use tactile feedback check box to enable
this feature.
To hide passwords as you type them:
1. Press Home > Menu > Settings >
Location & security.
2. Clear the Visible passwords check box.
To change the screen lock pattern, PIN, or password:
1. Press Home > Menu > Settings >
Location & security > Change screen lock.
2. Draw the current unlock pattern or enter the
current PIN or password. Tap
Continue if required.
3. Tap Pattern, PIN, or Password and create a new
unlock code. (Tap
None to disable this feature. )
