Home screen
How can I return to the Home screen?
The screen that displays the functions list and the date and time is
called the Home screen.
• Press the BACKSPACE key repeatedly until you return to the
Home screen. See page 26 for more information on other
shortcuts.
• Select Close from an application’s menu or, in the Device
Options screen, scroll to the [Return to Home Screen]
option and click.

What can I do if my LCD screen seems faint?
• Check the Screen/Keyboard option in the Device Options
screen. In Options>Screen/Keyboard, scroll to the Screen
Contrast field. Press and hold the ALT key while rolling the
trackwheel to select a higher contrast. Once you have set the
field to your preference, click the trackwheel to view the menu.
Scroll to Save Options and click.
• Activate backlighting by pressing the ALT key three times. See
page 31 for more information on the handheld’s backlighting.
The backlighting on my display screen keeps disappearing.
• The LCD backlighting will turn off after 10 seconds if you have
not pressed a key or the trackwheel.
