CHARGING BA'I-FERY PACK
The battery pack for this toolhas been shippedIn a
lowcharge conditionto prevent possible problems.
Therefore, you shouldcharge Itovernightpriorto use.
Note: Batteries will not reach fullchargethe firsttime
they ere charged. Allowseveral cycles(drilling
followed by recharging)for themto become fully
charged.
TO CHARGE
• Charge battery pack only with the charger and
charging stand provided.
• Make sure power supply is normal house
voltage, 120 volts, 80 Hz, AC only.
• Connect charger to power supply.
• Place battery pack in chargingstand. Align raised
rib on batterypack with groove in chargingstand.
See Figure 1.
• Press clownon battery packto be sure contactson
battery pack engage properlywithcontacts in
chargingstand.
• When properly cOnnected,the red lighton charging
stand willturnon.
• Note: ffcha_:jerdoesnot chargebatterypeck,return
batterypack, chargerand chargingstandto your
nearestSears RepoJrCenterforelectrioalcheck,
• After normal usage, a minimumcharge time of 10
hours Isrequired to recharge a completely
dischargedtool.
• The battery pack will become slightly warm to the
touch while charging.This isnormal and does not
indicate a problem.
• Do not place charger In an ares of eXtreme heat or
cold, Itwillwork best at normal roomtemperature.
• When batteries becomefully charged, unplug
charger frompower supply.
