TO SUPPORTING SURFACE
Your scroll saw MUST be securely fastened to a stand
or workbench using the three holes in the base, two of
which are shown at (A) Fig. 4.
IMPORTANT: If there is any tendency for the stand or
workbench to move during operation, the stand or
workbench MUST be fastened to the floor.
ON-OFF SWITCH AND VARIABLE
SPEED CONTROL
The on-off switch (A) Fig. 5, and variable speed control
(B) are located on the right front side of the scroll saw
base, as shown. To turn the saw “ON”, push the switch
(A) up and to turn the saw “OFF”, push the switch (A)
down.
This scroll saw is supplied with variable speed control
ranging from 600 to 1650 strokes per minute. Turn

reduce speed and clockwise to increase speed.
LOCKING SWITCH IN
THE “OFF” POSITION
IMPORTANT: When the tool is not in use, the switch
should be locked in the “OFF” position. Grasp the
switch toggle (B) Fig. 6, and pull it out as shown. With
the switch toggle (B) removed, the switch, (A) Fig. 6, will
not operate.
