•Makesurethebelt/discsanderisonarm,levelsurfaceand
properly secured toavoidinjuryfromunexpectedmovement.
• Unplug the tool before making adjustments, repairs, maintenance
or storing.
•Alwaysswitchoffthetoolbeforeunpluggingittoavoidaccidentalstarting
whenrepluggingthetoolintoapowersource.
•Weareyeprotectionanddustmask.
•Donotoperatethesanderuntilitisassembledandinstalledaccordingtothis
manual’sinstructions.
•Donotusethetooliftheswitchdoesnotturnitonandoff.Defectiveswitchesshouldbe
immediatelyreplacedbyanauthorizedservicecenterandthemachinenotusedunderrepairs
arecompleted.
•Alwayssupportworkpiecewithmitergauge,worksupportor
table.
•Keepngersawayfrompinchpointsbetweenhousingandsandingbeltordisc.
•Maintain1/16in.(1-2mm)clearancebetweentableandsandingbelt
or disc.
•Maintainproperadjustmentofsandingbelttensionandalignment.
•Neversandmorethanonepieceatatime.
•Alwaysfeedtheworkpiecefromlefttorightagainstthedirectionthesanding
beltisrotating.
•Useextracautionwithlarge,verysmallorawkwardworkpiece.Neverusethistool
tosandapiecetoosmalltoholdbyhand.
•Avoidawkwardoperationsandhandpositionswhereanunexpectedor
suddenslipthatcouldcauseyourhandorngerstomoveintothesandingbeltordisc.
•Neverstandinlinewiththepathofworkpiece.
•Donotoperateinrainorindamplocations.
•Groundingrequired.
