Note: Typically, a tolerance of 0.005" or less
in parallelism between the tables is considered
acceptable.
      
      
       


Note: If your jointer uses a knife-style cutterhead,
you will also have to adjust the knives as the last
procedure to bring the outfeed table surface and
cutting edges of the knives to the same height.

Adjusting Outfeed Table Parallelism
1. 
Cutterhead knives and
inserts are extremely
sharp and can quickly
slice your hands or fin-
gers. ALWAYS wear heavy
leather gloves when han-
dling these cutters to
avoid personal injury.
