HS81 CUT-OFF SAW — ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Reversing the Cutting Arm Procedure
NOTE
This assembly procedure permits the operator to reorient the
cutting blade
closer to a wall, column
and/or object.
The Multiquip
Side Winder
Cut-Off Saw comes with a Tool Kit
(Figure 16) that assist you with day to day operations.
You will
need these tools for the assembly of your saw.
Item
G
is a versatile screwdriver/wrench that accommodates
common bolt/screw and nut head sizes of your saw.
Item
H
is the wrench necessary to accommodate various allen
screws.

This position displays the
cutting blade on the inside
(center)
cutting position. To reverse the blade position continue with the
following steps:
Remove the following items from the
Cutting Arm Assembly
to expose the V-belt:
Guard Adjustment Knob

Two Cap Screws
J
Cover Guard
K

Loosen the
belt tensioning cam
L
and remove the three
nuts and washers
M
. This will take tension off the V-belt, and
permit you to reverse the
cutting arm
.
