WHAT CAN HAPPEN HOW TO PREVENT IT
• Touchingexposedmetalsuchasthe
compressor head, engine head, engine
exhaust or outlet tubes, can result in
serious burns.
• Nevertouchanyexposedmetalpartson
compressor during or immediately after
operation. Compressor will remain hot for
several minutes after operation.
• Donotreacharoundprotectiveshrouds
or attempt maintenance until unit has
been allowed to cool.

• Movingpartssuchasthepulley,flywheel,
and belt can cause serious injury if they
come into contact with you or your
clothing.
• Neveroperatethecompressorwith
guards or covers which are
damaged or removed.
• Keepyourhair,clothing,andglovesaway
from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry,
or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
• Airventsmaycovermovingpartsand
should be avoided as well.
• Attemptingtooperatecompressorwith
damaged or missing parts or attempting to
repair compressor with protective shrouds
removed can expose you to moving parts
and can result in serious injury.
• Anyrepairsrequiredonthisproduct
should be performed by a BOSTITCH
factory service center or a BOSTITCH
authorized service center.
