Complete Vehicle Certification Label
The Complete Vehicle Certification label certifies that the
vehicle complies with all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle
Safety Standards. It is located on the driver's side door
frame and contains the following information:
• Date of manufacture
• GVWR — Gross Vehicle Weight Rating
• GAWR FRONT and REAR — Gross Axle Weight Rat-
ings for Front and Rear Axle
• TIRE/RIM SIZES AND INFLATION PRESSURES —
Tire/Rim Sizes and Cold Pressure Minimums
• VIN — Vehicle Identification Number
WARNING! Do not exceed the specified load
rating. Overloading can result in loss of vehi-
cle control and an accident involving death or
personal injury, either by causing component
failures or by affecting vehicle handling.
Exceeding load ratings can also shorten the
service life of the vehicle.
NOTE: GVW is the TOTAL SCALE WEIGHT the
vehicle is designed to carry. This includes the
weight of the empty vehicle, loading platform,
occupants, fuel, and any load.
The tire size and rim size (and the cold inflation pressure
to match that combination) listed under “Suitable Tire-Rim
Choice” on the Certification Label are only representative
