Procedures not specically
explained in this manual must
be performed only by a qualied
technician.
TO PREVENT
SERIOUS INJURY
FROM ACCIDENTAL
OPERATION:
Turn the Power Switch of the tool
off and remove the Battery Pack
before performing any
inspection, maintenance, or
cleaning procedures.
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY
FROM TOOL FAILURE:
Do not use damaged equipment.
If abnormal noise or vibration
occurs, have the problem
corrected before further use.
Cleaning, Maintenance, and Lubrication
BEFORE EACH USE,1. inspect the
general condition of the tool. Check for
loose screws, misalignment or binding of
moving parts, cracked or broken parts,
damaged electrical wiring, and any
other condition that may affect its safe
operation.
AFTER USE,2. wipe external surfaces of
the tool with clean cloth.
Periodically blow dust and grit out of the 3.
motor vents using dry compressed air.



its bits, parts and accessories. Always
store your tool and its accessories in the
case provided.
Protect the tool and its parts and 5.
accessories from moisture and damp or
corrosive atmospheres.
Protect this tool from damage. Do 6.
not leave it in a place where it can be
banged around, such as a truck bed or
vehicle trunk.
Some of the bits provided are “grinding 7.
bits” using stone abrasives. During use,
these may clog up with removed material
or lose their shape. To clean and
reshape these bits, run them against the
provided Dressing Stone. The Dressing
Stone will abrade away the clogging
materials and will reshape the Grinding
Bits as appropriate.

short, incinerate or open battery.
9. WARNING! If the supply cord of the
Transformer is damaged, it must be
replaced only by a qualied service
technician.
Accessory Storage and Handling
Handle accessories carefully to prevent 1.
dropping or bumping. Do not use wheels
that have been dropped or bumped.
Store accessories in carrying case. 2.
Store in a dry area above freezing

wheels exposed to humidity or freezing
temperatures must not be used. Keep
all accessories out of reach of children.
