This saw produces hot chips, not

It is recommended that you wear a

protect your face,
FEED SPEED
F,0.
Feed speed ishow quickly you push the saw blades throughthe material being cut,
The correct feed speed is totally determined by the hardness and the thickness of
the material being cut,
IMPORTANT: Feeding mustALWAYS be done withthe blades perpendicular to the
plane of the workpiece (See Fig.A). Feeding at an angle can burn the blade and
damage the bladeteeth (See Fig. B).
Selecting the correct feed speed Is important.
If the feed speed Is too slow:
1. The blades will only press down on the material rather than cuttingit,
2. The bladeedges glideand wear down the material.
3. A poorcut will resultand cause excessivewear on the blades
If the feed speed Is too fast:
1. There is a definite riskthatthe cut mFghtsplitand the splinteredopeningofthecut
winnot be sufficientto divertthe wood shavings.
2. A poor cutwillresultwith a significantdischargeof wood shavingson the lower
side ofthe cut.
