Raising/Lowering Headstock
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Loosen both Z-axis lock levers shown in
Figure 20.

3. Use vertical handwheel shown in Figure 21
to adjust headstock height.
4. Retighten lock levers.

The headstock moves in the following ways:
• Travels up and down the column (Z-axis).
• Tilts 45° left or right relative to the table.

To tilt headstock:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Support headstock with one hand, then loos-
en headstock center bolt and angle lock nut
(see Figure 22).
3. While watching tilt scale, rotate headstock to
required angle, then retighten center bolt and
angle lock nut to secure headstock.
